 Merdeka Square (Dataran Merdeka) is a historic landmark in Kuala Lumpur, marking the site where Malaysia declared its independence from British rule on August 31, 1957. The square is home to one of the world’s tallest flagpoles, standing at 95 meters, proudly displaying the Malaysian flag.
